Holly Mosher - Host - Award Winning Filmmaker for Change

A serial award-winning Filmmaker for Change, Holly Mosher brings socially conscious films to the public. In high school she developed a passion for both photography and philosophy that led her to pursue filmmaking. In her college entrance paper, she cited George Orwell’s idea that all art should be political, and today, uses that concept to guide her work.

After graduating with honors from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, Holly produced a number of commercials and feature films.

In 2004 she made her directorial debut with her award-winning documentary, Hummingbird, about two non-profits in Brazil that work with street kids and women suffering domestic violence. Afterwards, she produced two films on the pharmaceutical industry: Side Effects, starring Katherine Heigl, and Money Talks: Profits Before Patient Safety. She co-produced Maybe Baby, and executive produced Vanishing of the Bees, FREE FOR ALL!, and Pay 2 Play: Democracy’s High Stakes. The second film she directed, Bonsai People – The Vision of Muhammad Yunus, aired on American Public Television.  The Hollywood Reporter named her one of the top up-and-coming independent film producers. David Cobb - 2004 Presidential Candidate of the US Green Party, Move to Amend

David-Cobb-Ohio.jpg

David is an American activist and was the 2004 presidential candidate of the Green Party of the United States. David Cobb co-founded Move to Amend and one of the authors of the We the People Amendment.

David is a lawyer and political activist. David has sued corporate polluters, lobbied elected officials, run for political office himself, and has been arrested for non-violent civil disobedience.  He truly believes we must use ALL the tools in the toolbox to effect the systemic social change we urgently need.

In 2002 David ran for Attorney General of Texas, pledging to use the office to revoke the charters of corporations that repeatedly violate health, safety and environmental laws. He did not win the office, but the Green Party of Texas grew dramatically during his campaign from four local chapters to twenty-six. In 2004, he ran for President of the United States on the Green Party ticket and successfully campaigned for the Ohio recount.  Learn more: MovetoAmend.org

By now you've probably heard about the recounts being initiated by candidates Jill Stein in Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania (Pennsylvania is still on), Rocky de la Fuente in Nevada and by citizens in Florida.    You'll recall that I started offering Free For All online for free after I saw idiosyncrasies in the primary that made me concerned about election integrity.  Now I'm thrilled to see candidates finally standing up for a recount and the mainstream media finally taking this very important story seriously.

Over the past year, I've been collecting stories about election integrity and the recount at SaveOurElections.org.
Watch and share this video about the importance of the recount and election integrity.

You'll also want to watch this funny video about who owns the voting machines.

I also want to mention that prior to election day, Millions of Americans were disenfranchised by the gutting of the Voting Rights Act as well as by the Interstate Voter Registration Crosscheck Program.  To learn more about Crosscheck, watch Greg Palast's film The Best Democracy Money Can BuyThe Washington Post finally covered voter disenfranchisment.  Of course, it would have been more appropriate for them to run this story BEFORE the election...

NOW, the Jill Stein campaign and other election integrity groups still need funding.  Please donate and spread the word about this historic recount.
http://jillstein.nationbuilder.com/recount http://recountnow.org/  We need to fix our election systems NOW, or we will continually have elections that we can not trust.
Thank you!
