Volunteering Abroad, Keith Biele - Art for AIDS Relief

In 2007, fine artist, Keith Biele (first artist to paint in the US Pentagon) became EW's first Artist In Action abroad. While in Zimbabwe he provided skills building workshops for T&J designs (improving product quality) and essential art therapy to children at Julia's Home and to over 100 children in three rural areas. In addition to helping orphaned children and communities to fight AIDS, Keith took this opportunity to inspire good will and global understanding in under served youth in the USA. He brought 100 paintings from children at Ocean City Elementary School in Florida - where 80% of the students are dealing with poverty - to orphaned children in Zimbabwe as a symbol of friendship and solidarity.
